Anyone see this? Newsweek reporting on a WSJ piece - Thurs; Re Biden's abilities

The Wall Street Journal published a bombshell report Thursday suggesting the White House had to manage Biden's energy and availability as early as 2021, this time citing conversations with former aides to the White House teams.

The aides and witnesses, many speaking to the paper anonymously, help paint a picture of a man who needed handling to get him through the typical burdens of the presidency. Biden reportedly relied on a "tightknit inner circle of advisers" that helped him execute his vision and limit gaffes, according to the Journal...."

I just threw it in the pile of other allegations they and the NY Times have made about him. I thought about posting it but it would have fallen under the category of r-w propaganda at that time.

What Newsweek has turned up about members of the Cabinet who refuted the premise of the article makes it newsworthy now, however. Also, just looking at how hard Biden has worked to bambooze trump from his ugly decisions for his first day in office makes the premise of the article just more propaganda.

It makes me wonder why WSJ would bother, at this late point in the game. Their candidate already "won," so to speak. Or do they have a fear that maybe he didn't, really?

11. The WSJ report came out a week ago, not yesterday

And it was based on interviews with 50 WH sources , unnamed of course, as are Newsweek’s sources. The Newsweek story seems to pretty clearly be damage control.

Interestingly, the WSJ story was ignored/buried by the other MSM outlets- nobody , not even Raw Story, picked it up, and the alternative media bloggers and podcasters Biden has been granting interviews with didn’t mention it either.

Only one “radical left” podcaster, Hasan Piker, gave it any attention.

I didn’t notice anyone in the right mentioning it either- Trump didn’t even “truth” about the story AFAIK.

Biden is very elderly. It's no different than many other seniors who struggle at that age. We can't put in our head in the sand. I love Biden, but the WH protected him for a reason.

Knowledgeable and adept at policy and complex decisions while struggling to have the energy to do the job which should frankly be expected of anyone his age.

We watched his exposure being "handled" in the 2020 campaign where even then there were reports of him not having the energy needed for the campaign. His primary debate performances were described as "word salad" by Democrats, and he couldn't get through a rally speech without stumbling. His gaffs--typical for Joe throughout his career--were perhaps more frequent.

Then he mobilized the Covid vaccine, briliantly brought together a coalition to support Ukraine, and helped pass comprehensive infrastructure bills.

The WSJ has its agenda and will focus on the negative. Haven't they always?
