The Carter Center posted the photo on their verified Twitter account Monday night. It shows President
Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden meeting with former President Jimmy Carter and former first lady

Biden paid a visit to the 39th President at his home before a drive-in rally near Atlanta last week.

Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter did not attend Biden's inauguration in January as they have spent the
COVID-19 pandemic mostly at their home in Plains, Georgia. It was the first time the couple missed
the ceremonies since Carter was sworn in as the 39th president.

And yes, that is a real photo, I've seen it before. I think it's a matter of perspective since the Bidens are higher and closer - and since both of the Carters were well into their 90s, they've likely gotten smaller with age.

Found this article that explains in depth how camera focal length and size of room make the difference so pronounced. They should have switched Jill & Joe with Jimmy & Rosslyn for a comparison pic. (Though, maybe too difficult for them to get up?)

22. I want to say something shiny and warm, but

the reason we only got one term of him was because a lot of people (and you know who you are) used him as a synonym for "failure":, backstabbing, blaming, taking points from the other side, mid eat, all the same crap that kept out Kamala was tested out on him. I just hope someday, Kamala becomes president and makes these same froce eat another round of crow like they are now.

28. At work, right after the failed rescue mission

all my co-workers were going off what a loser Carter was basically repeating RW talking points. My
response was "Well now we know our helicopter engines aren't sand proof, oh and by the way our
ex-Navy Commander-in-Chief had the balls to tell the Pentagon "Bring our people home" they are
the ones that failed not the President".

Took the smiles off a lot of faces that day plus made enemies for sticking up for him.
