Musk has the wool pulled over people's eyes

I ventured out into republican land. They are totally disconnected from reality. Wow they think that Musk is some savior. Was told that space X has never received any government money. Musk has so much money he would never steal from our government. He has wonderful plans for Mars and creating cities on earth. X is a failure. Tesla is ready for the garbage can. Space X is only a thing because the government funded it.

MAGA will believe anything as long as it’s what they want to hear. Besides, their news sources are completely biased and distorted. Propaganda to keep the masses in line with the official line.
I didn’t like 1984 when I read it a million years ago and I like it even less now that I’m living it.

Musk bought it to use as a propaganda tool and his own personal mouthpiece.

After the events of last month I'd say it's been successful.

Tesla stock is at an all time high. Record numbers of deliveries, the only EV maker who is profitable.

And SpaceX with or without the US cheddar has been wildly successful.

Hate MUSK all you want... but those claims are fiction.

X's influence is over. Its power came from being the "village" where people of many stripes could hang out. All Musk did was destroy this village, forcing a great diaspora into Mastodon, Blue Sky, Threads, Substack, and other locations. It now is harder to find these other voices.

Space X was paid for us. X is crumbling while it did it's purpose huge loss of money but what does he care. Tesla is tanking and the lawsuits and recalls will finish it off. Not fiction but to keep those things alive he will need the government handout like the good little welfare queen he is.

Fundamentally, Tesla's business is strong. It long ago stopped burning through cash, and it now has become a cash cow. Free cash flow in the company's most recent quarter came in at more than $2.7 billion, growing 233% year over year. Tesla's total cash and investments at the end of Q3 2024 were approximately $33.6 billion.

Would have been nothing without money from the US government/ nasa. It has not been all that successful either.

This is the thing that shows how really crazy they are. In my opinion. I will never forget years ago when one of my neighbors said that we were going to figure out how to have people living on the moon. This is how crazy people are here. There is no one living on the moon and there never will be nor will there ever be anyone living on Mars.
