Mike Johnson says he's not cutting deals to win speakership.

McCarthy had to agree to a number of concessions including reducing the number of votes to file a motion to vacate to one. Does anyone believe that Johnson will not be making concessions or cutting deals to win?

He's smarter than 'Coddle 'em Kevin'. If Elon/Trump want him as Speaker, let THEM pay off the needed votes.

Basically he is announcing he has already cut deals, but is planning on not cutting any new ones so they better take what they already got and vote for him.

He has been as bought as he plans on being bought!
