"Merchan indicated in his ruling that Trump will not be sentenced to serve time behind bars. He wrote that prosecutors agree with this decision. "It seems proper at this juncture to make known the court's inclination to not impose any sentence of incarceration, a sentence authorized by the conviction but one the (prosecutors) concede they no longer view as a practicable recommendation," Merchan wrote."

I can't find anything that says that in any MSM publication.

I think "unconditional discharge" is what they were referring to, which is not a dismissal, and there's nothing about a no arrest probationary condition.

From NBC News:

Merchan said that "a sentence of an unconditional discharge appears to be the most viable solution to ensure finality and allow Defendant to pursue his appellate options." Such a sentence would allow the conviction to stand but without Trump being fined, locked up or having to serve probation.

It's a nothing burger designed to accommodate Trump. He is well beyond persecution for contempt of Court, especially if the Judge told him already he won't be going to jail. Also, he doesn't have to show up. So, what's to care about? Judge should have entered his sentence without any fanfare. It means nothing now.

Flying the flag at half mast for 30 days for a legitimate President is more important than non administration of justice. The Felon in Chief apparently plans to disrespect Carter. Guess he'll order the flag to be raised for himself on that day. Too bad that on the day he drops dead, parties will be thrown and flags flourished.

I'm sick of Trump. Thanks, Maggots, you'll get what you deserve from Trump himself. The Government is infested with cancer. You can't have enough regrets, as far as I'm concerned.

Trump is not my President. You can fly the flag at half mast for the next 4 years.

Judge Juan M. Merchan, who presided over Trump’s trial, signaled in a written decision that he'd sentence the former and future president to what's known as an unconditional discharge, in which a case is closed without jail time, a fine or probation. Trump can appear virtually for sentencing, if he chooses.

I will never be able to convict anyone for crimes under this two tiered justice system. I never believed this before all the crap that we have been through. The only exception would probably be a serial killer prosecution, or similar. Probably rape. But all the speedsters, druggies, ratfinks, etc., I don't think I could vote to convict. It's just not fair. Do you think I am satisfied with, Trump is forever a felon?

Trump is a mean, lying, vindictive, criminal asshole. Don't ever, ever forget that he stole classified docs in ungodly amounts, probably to sell to the highest bidder. This I believe. He is not a patriot, but a traitor. And, we let him skate!

Trump deserves to be in jail. And, his lawyers now receiving appointments in our Government, are trash.

Thank you, Jury, for doing your job. You did the right thing.
