Seriously, can our nation survive four more years of this nutcase?

Obviously a traitor and obviously working with Putin.

Making threats to countries and allies around the world. And as usual, lying his ass off.

His words carry no weight at all. They are nonsense. But still, people must take him seriously because there are actors in the world that will use his ignorance against all of us.

He was a threat to our country the last time he was in power and this time, he will be an even bigger threat to our nation and the world.

Good luck to all.

Just IMHO, of course. The institutional damage from the first Trump term was considerable, yet it pales in comparison to the ruthless destruction already staged for the second.

He is not well, and the nonsense he has been spewing is just more evidence of that. He has been mentally deteriorating more rapidly by the day. One can only hope he's removed before he does too much damage. Not that his replacement will be much better...

Yup. Good luck, America. You're going to need it more than ever.

He is obviously more off his rocker than most of us could have imagined.

Is it possible that the oligarchs will finally kick him to the curb? After all, his usefulness is dwindling. After he is sworn in, he becomes a lame duck who will constantly embarrass them and all of us. Might they get sick of him, too?

that he will be dead within two years. The stress of the office, his diet, and his poor general health will catch up with him, Then we'll have to deal with Shady Vance and his controllers. Shady has no idea of how to govern, so he'll be dependent on Peter Thiel and the oligarchs. God help us all then.

Our democracy will no loinger exist in a meaningful way. Life as we know it will change more gradually, but eventually the corruption will take everything from regular Americans.

I think we're a good generation away from retirement no longer being a "thing" to 95% of the country. People will simply work until they die, because that's the system that most enriches the top 1/10th of 1%. You'll see the very old being put to work simply for food and a bed to rest in at night.

Far too many of them at least. That’s the worst part of this for me. There is nothing new coming from this fool. It was already out there for all to see. This is a massive self-inflicted wound.

As good as debtor-in-possession bankruptcy.

Congress may meet and make noise, but it has no power now. It will be interesting to see if we have elections that mean anything in 2026.

Good chance the USA will be broken up into parts. NE and central, South, West.

The problem is where does MAGA anger go? It won't go home. It will ground somewhere.

Nothing matters but giving your assets to billionaires. They're as good as any Pharoah.

THere are no checks and balances because there is no judicial system. Issues for the wealthy are fast-tracked to SCOTUS-6-R. All others are dismissed.

I think most of the country will be relying on weak, local government systems to operate. County level are very important, and they can be resilient. Elections were going to save us. Courts were going to save us. M$M was going to save us, as was the Fifth column. Lawyers were going to litigate and save us. The police were going to save us. Now we're turning to Masters of Public Administration. The guys who run county transit, approve food bank applications, and pave the roads.

Be of good cheer.
