Our leaders in California ALWAYS send aid to other states in need REGARDLESS OF THEIR POLITICS.

They hate us but sure do seem to love slurping up our sweet sweet tax dollars, though.

No consequences for floods, tornadoes, droughts, and other disasters, right?

When they beg for $ for their disasters be it tornados, hurricanes, flooding it’s ok. I seem to remember one time we had a bad tornado outbreak in my state, and there were some republicans that didn’t want to give disaster aid, and I live in a red state. I think Graham was one of them, and when they had a hurricane in his home state, he was beginning for $.

California policies aren't making it worse, Federal policies are. Specifically, the ones that refuse to deal with CLIMATE CHANGE.

MAGAts want to play political quid-pro-quo games amidst a disaster.

This is as evil as it gets. MAGAts voted for this.

We COULD have a Federal government that responds to national disasters. But MAGAts hate government, so we no longer have that.

We're already experiencing consequences of ignoring climate change and minimally regulated growth because profit over planet.

Oh wait, climate change and regulations are "woke"; they don't actually exist in GOP world....

So us Libs must have set those fires ourselves. It's Our Fault the Koch brothers and other Oligarchs are willing to pay off government to trash the planet just for this quarter's profits and tax breaks. Kings gotta run the board, right?

Remind him that we didn’t hang NC’s substandard flood and wind protection requirements for new construction over their heads after Helene.

Seeing as it’s assholes like this who get rewarded by voters while we keep our heads down and do the right thing and all.

But they never are. It’s always some nebulous something that the Democrats/blue states need to do. Yeah, I know the gop lives on meaningless sound bits. It makes life so much easier if you leave your opponent nothing to talk about.

Did he make to combat this?

None. They are all anger and BS. Yes, forest management, city planning is needed, but where are the bucks, man power and policy? Yeah, there is none. Just Mel Gibson spouting off to Joe Rogan. Fuck these guys.

On March 19, 2024, Davidson voted "nay" to House Resolution 149 Condemning the illegal abduction and forcible transfer of children from Ukraine to the Russian Federation. He was one of nine Republicans to do so.
