Question about Bluesky...

I was able to get it onto my iPhone and signed up, etc. Then I downloaded the app to my computer and tried to sign in. I did write down my password, but it doesn't work. So I tried to reset it. I have been trying for 3 days to get a reset code, but I never get one. (Yes, I have looked in my Junk folder.) Now what? I can't even change my password on my iPhone because I need a reset code for that.

Also, what is my username? piddyprints or piddyprints.bluesky.social or my email address?

Update: I emailed support and got their auto-reply. I don't know if that's good or bad at this point.

1. Do you have other emails from bluesky, like a welcome letter or something?

That would confirm they have your correct address.

Looks like all you can so is email their support dept if you haven't gotten a reset email.

Yes, I did get the welcome email with a confirmation code. They do have the correct email address. Guess I'll have to email them. Thanks!

2. I find editing it much easier on the computer

Just go through your profile and see what you can do.

Also you don't need to download an app to your computer, you can just use your browser and go to https://bsky.app/

The reset goes to whatever email address you used when you set up the account. Worst case just create a new account.

Their initial welcome email got to me just fine. I'll email support. Thanks!
