1. As long as the Republicans fail to get the funding for the deportations, that means they can continue to

blame the Democrats for whatever. You can't believe a word Trump says. Maybe he understands what this would do to the economy; maybe he doesn't. This could turn into another build the wall thing. The rest isn't going to have much implications politically, at least not in the short run. People are looking at their financial situations.
