We owe Jack Smith a debt of gratitude.

A man of great integrity who persevered despite all the road blocks, the many attempts to undermine and thwart his investigation. He did all he could to save our Democracy.

I wish we could show/tell him how much we appreciate him and his work.

That guilt falls at the feet of we the people, the media, politicians and, unfortunately, the weakness of our institutions.

He's a prosecutor. His success depended on the rest of the judicial system working and the majority of the American people giving a shit about his work and they both failed.

Attacking Smith while you regularly defend Garland.

A little too on the nose, don't you think, fellow Democrat?

And I think Biden was fine with Garland’s caution, delay, fear, or whatever you want to call it. In end, it did turn into a chitshow and arguably cost us votes.

Besides, sounds like Smith is covering for Garland.

I do give Smith credit for getting what charges we had on trump at federal level and the attention it brought to trump’s criminality. But it wasn’t enough.

TSF obstructed the course of justice through every step of the investigation, often with the cooperation of the courts. I see it as a tragedy of Shakespearean proportions.
