Remember he was not in the military in that capacity! Did he just give up dealing with the Australian billionaire talked about in the trump classified docs case!? On record!?

...but I heard him mention AUKUS in his [insufficient] response to Sen. D's quiz of his basic knowledge of various security agreements in that region. Then he said "trying to work on submarines with them" -- meaning generally the US. But yes, that's the topic that Trump gave high level info to a rando, as bragging fodder.

He begins to name a bunch of countries not in it, Australia was one of them, and he says he negotiated subs with them, after she asked if he has negotiated with the ASEAN...it's quick back and forth.

I saw that August also in the CC at the bottom of the screen.

Pete Hegseth has not been in the military since 2021 and was not in that capacity, Joe Biden has been the President the last four years, trump and Hegseth are not officially anything yet, so they are not negotiating anything.

And was under indictment for sharing classified documents about nuclear subs with a billionaire, and Hegseth says "they've" been working with Australia negotiating subs in his hearing. He hasn't been in the military since 2021 and his position did not give him access to such work.

Someone should follow up on his implying he has negiotiated anything with subs.
