The two semiautomatic pisols and .223-caliber Bushmaster rifle Lanza used in the shooting were registered to his mother, whom several witnesses identified as an avid gun collector. She apparently taught her kids how to shoot the guns. The owner of a landscaping business who recently decorated her yard for Christmas tells Reuters she once showed him a “really nice, high-end rifle” that she purchased. “She said she would often go target shooting with her kids

In her case, she fits the archetype of a collector. One of the guns in her collection is damn cool, a Civil War Henry.

Look, people having them is not the problem, is how...and how many.

And what type.

What we need is strict FEDERAL GUN LAWS. There is a direct correlation between strict gun laws and the frequency of gun crimes.

collected guns. Why she didn't keep them locked up is very strange. She also reputedly took both her sons to the shooting range to learn to shoot. I will be very glad to hear from her other son, who should be able to shed a lot of light on this situation. I am taking everything I read with a grain of salt. There are way too many inaccuracies in this story so far. Hold on for verified facts people, though the above could be absolute fact. I just don't know.
