I also use "cannibal capitalists," since they don't just scavenge the dead; they consume the living.

I've subscribed to their newsletter and am trying to collect and pass on some of the things I think will especially help us.

One of our most important jobs is to tell the (true) story of villains and heroes. Billionaires can be called oligarchs, but then you have to define it because most people don't know. Fat cats, crony or cannibal capitalists, robber barons, and so forth is much more easily understood by everyone. We all have a frame of reference for that.

Lay the foundation for blame. As the out-of0power party, that's Dems' role now.
* “Corruption,"
* “looting the middle class to feed the rich and corporations,"
* “curtailing our American freedoms"
* “a few are getting richer while a majority struggle to pay their bills."
* "It's morally corrupt for billionaires to run the government for their own benefit
and so forth

The Villains
* greedy billionaires and their enablers are the villains
* Elon bought himself a presidency
* scheming rich person, a fat cat (or corporate power) that
* uses their power, resources, and influence to manipulate systems for personal gain, often at the expense of fairness, justice, or the well-being of others.

Repetition is the key to communication because it changes brains. The story of how an ultra-wealthy few are rigging everything in their own favor must become the central theme of our politics. If we don't keep telling the story and showing how it relates to every problem we face, the message won't get through.

* The fight against billionaire control of our government is a fight for the soul of American democracy.
* They are trying to buy the media and destroy the truth.

The Heroes
* The heroes in this story will be those who protect democracy by serving the people and halting the hostile billionaire takeover of our government.
