The American Experiment in Democracy ends midday today.
But keep in mind, in two years we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the beginning of that experiment. We must organize, resist, and stand with our immigrant, marginalized neighbors and other targets of their hatred. But more than that we should make it a goal that when we have an opportunity to celebrate America's 250th birthday that it is patriots for democracy and not Magatt fascists that light the candles on the cake and lead the parades.
