I happen to think television news and opinion is worse the Tiktok because so many people believe that shit is real.

I don't have cable, satellite, or broadcast television. The television in our home plays Netflix and DVDs. That's all it does.

What's your vice?

Mine is YouTube. I watch that on my laptop, and I pay to make the advertising go away. Mostly it's shows about residential and commercial construction, geology, botany, and engineering. The algorithms have figured out that I despise talking head news and opinion.

I cannot fathom what the angst over TikTok is all about. People tell me I just haven't seen the good stuff. Well, I certainly haven't! I mean, I like kitty vids and silly people doing silly stuff as much as the next person, but that's all TikTok is, at least in my experience. Ten minutes and I was over it.
