I haven't turned the tv on all day

Went to get a covid shot but phamacist said no need at this time because my last one was in August, I did get a shingles shot though thanks to the ACA it was free to me.
I have been busy all day and regularly checked on DU.
Is it safe to watch the local news now or should I just avoid it all together.

I’d rather not see him channeling Reagan as he turns his head in such a way. It’s revolting!

It was post inauguration. Everyone was seated at different tables, maybe for a meal. All heads were bowed for a prayer. Trump used the moment of silence as an opportunity to plan his next grift and plot against his enemies.

I have not seen any news on TV. I have been here on and off and I watched a movie on Hulu. I have not gone to any of the social media sites that I sometimes frequent. I love the cute dog videos on Instagram, but I don’t want to see anything else so I am staying away. I personally would suggest you stay away from even local news, because there is no way it will not use the word trump at some point. But OTOH, this will be going on for at least 4 years, maybe longer if he won’t leave (he’s never going to die, so that’s off the table), so it’s really just postponing the inevitable. I know, not much help...

I went in to the office and a coworker was blasting the inauguration on her little TV and giggling about trump's speech. So when I got home a few minutes ago, I turned on Nicolle. (sigh) But I still don't plan to get sucked into his nonsense. Just wanted to see Nicolle's take on everything.

You can check in for a few moments and then check out.

So I surfed the guide, ended up watching a marathon of Storage Wars. Inane, idiotic, sometimes laughable, and totally honest compared to trump.

It's the College Football National Championship game between Notre Dame and Ohio State.
I've kept my TV off all day but I'll be watching the big game.

Go Irish!
