Ron DeSantis And Florida Appear To Be First To Use Terminology Mandated By Donald Trump
"What a beautiful name," Trump has said.

GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis on Monday issued a weather warning involving the “Gulf of America,” making Florida the first state to officially call the Gulf of Mexico by its new name mandated by President Donald Trump, according to outlets.

HuffPost could not verify Florida’s lead in massaging Trump’s ego, but The New York Times said DeSantis released the emergency message before Trump codified it in an executive order following the inauguration.

10 Lesson 10 On Tyranny

Believe in truth. To abandon facts is to abandon freedom. If nothing is true, then no one can criticize power, because there is no basis upon which to do so. If nothing is true, then all is spectacle. The biggest wallet pays for the most blinding lights.

I used to work at BP - it would take years to make a change that big.

Think of all the logistics software for the oil, gas, shipping, aerospace, space industries, that all have to be coordinated. Plus all of the standard operating procedures documents (SOPs) in those industries.

Would dwarf the complexity of Y2K.

Ain't gonna happen.

From a legal standpoint, we can't force any other country to accept the name, but we can change it for our own purposes.
The EO however, does not require any cost studies.
