But when in doubt, definitely better to just go with the fact that they are assholes. Autistic people, the mentally ill, and those with dementia have enough problems without being associated with Trump. In my experience, dementia was more likely to turn certain behaviors up. My mom's aunt was an awful person before dementia, was a more awful person with dementia. My grandfather was a good person before dementia and after was in many ways better in terms of consideration of others.

I said as much months ago. Any doctor who diagnoses him without a proper checkup is skirting their ethical oath.

Trump seems no less deranged than the day he left office. And unfortunately, especially if you've dealt with someone who suffers from Alzheimer's, it does not progress that slowly - especially since people have been claiming he's suffered from it, or dementia, since at least 2016.
