America? The United States isn't America. America is the name of two continents, for glory's sake. North America, where the USA is located. South America, where a pile of nations is located. And Central America, where several more nations are located. The USA is a nation located in North America. It is not America. I learned that crap in elementary school, for pity's sake.

America is the entire Western Hemisphere, essentially. we are the "United States" of America. There's Canada to the north and Mexico to the South. All three are in North America. All people who live in North, South, and Central America are Americans. They just aren't citizens of the USA, unless they live in that country.

Donald Trump misunderstands what America is. That's not surprising, because he misunderstands almost everything.

The Gulf is surrounded mainly by the USA and Mexico, with Cuba having some shoreline on it as well. It doesn't belong to the USA. It doesn't belong to Mexico, and it certainly doesn't belong to Cuba. It is a geographical body of water. What it is called is totally irrelevant to anything but mapmakers.

1. Look alot of bad weather comes from the gulf.

If this succeeds, we can just "Blame it on America" (It takes Mexico out of the equation)

The name Mexico does imply warmer weather (even though it's just a name). So, when they complain about all this warm weather coming up, "Blame it on America".....And if something nefarious happens with people, "Blame it on the Gulf of AMERICA"

Mexico is a punching bag. And if they take name out of the gulf, then that's one less Mexican punching bag for them.
