So far the Democrats are all over the place but there are a few who have found their voices. I wrote about Chris Murphy’s excellent twitter videos the other day. But no one does it like AOC.

This week AOC, as she is known in the world of initials, hopped on Insta Live, and it sounds like she’s going to do it every week in this new era, maybe more. We watched every bit of it, and we think it may be our first weekly assignment of the era of Stupid Hitler, to help keep us connected, to keep us focused, and to keep us sane.

Yesterday we had an Episcopal bishop speak to the president about having mercy on the vulnerable (and being mercilessly attacked for it.) AOC has to go on social media to explain that a presidential surrogate flashing Nazi salutes at the inauguration isn’t ok.

Truth. And AOC tells it, which makes her stand out.

As she tells the truth about Trump and the situation, which really makes her stand out.

2. We need a strong, unfied Democratic party response to all this...

...We can't expect a few brave ones to do this alone.

It's time for the Democratic Party as a whole to fight back.

When we were growing up rural and poor, we ate alot of milk toast. And my old man would say platitudes like "keep the faith"

3. She should declare her Presidential candidacy today!

She's 35 now. Even if she doesn't get the eventual nomination, we need a face of Democratic leadership. We need someone to be the Democratic version of Trump, but in a good way. Change the narrative and be a thorn in his side. Follow him around the country and hold rallies. Do a media blitz questioning his legitimacy based on violating section 3 of the 14th ammendment. He tried to deligitimize President Obama and President Biden. It would be both fitting and appropriate.

9. We need to see every congress critter become as willing to fight as these to women.

If you don’t want to fight, quit. If we have Dem senators of representatives who are less than enthusiastic, we must call them out. It’s time for action. Consistent action, then fundraising.

8. Hit back with the TRUTH

We need Democratic Voices speaking to all the Media, Fact Checking every false statement from the Orange guy. Every time tRump gets an Interview with the media, people like Obama, Jefferies, Bill Clinton, AOC and other respected Democrats need to speak out forcefully on the hate speak and falsehoods. Time to spend a few $’s. On spreading the Truth and “Expansing the Tent” and develop a Truth Informed biter base. Just my opinion on the subject.
