open? You might want to pay attention since Diaper Don is throwing around tariff threats.
The powers that be try brushing it off on traders waiting for reports, I say Bull. Not stock advice just proceed with caution. Tariffs cause inflation, inflation causes the Fed to raise rates.

(60,320 posts)I think the stock market is ripe for a fall, been expecting it, but of course one never knows when or what will trigger it. Stock markets get ready to fall and then a trigger could be anything. I've been expecting a fall because I think markets have been dreaming "gilded age" coming and reality will catch up to them at some point that tRump tariffs and immigration clampdown are bad for business.

(18,690 posts)Not everybody can follow futures in the middle of the night, though. If I'd done this post I probably would just tell everybody what was happening and not make them go hunt it down, since in all likelihood most people don't follow market futures overnight.
Also, there have been so many instances were market futures tanked overnight but came back by market open.
