Is Saying Wait For The 2026/2028 Elections A Right Wing Talking Point

I mean please read Greg Palast's article in the Guardian about how Magats purged Democratic votes. Palast has the numbers. There was a 3.5 million vote swing to Trump which means that Kamala Harris actually won the popular vote.

What good does it do if Democrats don't address this purging of valid votes?

In 2022 Democrats were primed to pass the John Lewis voting rights act which guaranteed everyone the right to vote. 2 Democratic Senators killed the bill - Kristen Sinema and Joe Manchin.

The Supreme Court ruled that we have the right to own a gun and before anyone can take away our gun it must go through a court. Americans are supposed to have the right to vote but that vote can be taken away and said voter does not even have to be told it was taken away.

It is too easy to purge mail in ballots, just claim the signatures don't match, or some other lame excuse. I am going to switch to in person voting.

Please don't insult my intelligence about provisional ballots, I call them "placebo ballots" they get tossed.

Please stop with what Democrats did wrong, the election was rigged and unless that gets fixed saying that we will get them in the next election is a right wing talking point.

...allowing the normalization over time of trump's actions will only hurt pro-Democracy efforts in the future.

The moment to resist and oppose is now.

How much damage can he and his minions inflict on Democracy in that time period? Our Democratic congress critters need to do whatever is necessary to stop this blatant bunch of autocratic, theocratic, corporate invaders. I hope we can appeal to the conscience of at a few of the GQP [if any of them have one left]. Maybe testosterone shots would help them grow enough assertiveness to do the right thing.

At some point, when these conspiracies keep being proven wrong like the "bullet ballots", like the Starlink uploaded vote counts, like the lack of audits, the simple solution that we lost should start to be the default instead of moving to the next conspiracy.

Palast's numbers are provable. The numbers of ballots that were purged in Georgia, it was around 190,000 ballots swung the race to Magats.

The blowing up of drop boxes, the bomb threats, the 8 hour lines to vote, the purging of legitimate ballots are all real and provable.

Actually, the Palast numbers are most likely worse because several voting districts are refusing to turn over the numbers to him.

The thousands of honest election officials who quit because of death threats and harassment from Magats is real. From 2021 Merrick Garland only prosecuted 4 people for that intimidation. That shit is real, it happened.

No they're not, and they never will be. Even aside from any rat-fuckery that might happen in R-controlled voting districts, the fact that it has to travel to the precinct out of your hands increases the level of rat-fuckery that can happen. Remember the stories about postal workers losing thousands of ballots, or ballots being discovered in dumpsters? I get that mail-in voting is much more convenient, eliminates the fear some may have of standing in lines while militia fuckers are out there calling the cops on anyone who gives a person in line a bottle of water, and is a literal life-saver for disabled folk, but really... Democratic voters and leadership have been too damn trusting.
