Are you calling your Congress person's office?

Regardless of their party you should. As Chris Haye's reposted on bluesky today:
For folks who say, "Why should I even bother calling my Democratic Senator? They'll vote the right way.." I need you to understand that when Dem electeds try to justify why they're cowering in terror from Trump right now, the VERY FIRST THING THEY CITE is: "no one's calling my office"

I have been meaning to call my Senator and Congressman. They're both Dems, but they haven't been standing up as much as I think they should, and they need to know what the rank and file is feeling right now. Most of us are not happy. Do you think they know that? Calling them is an easy way to make sure they do.

If you go to her website there should be a "contact" link.

You can also drop an "old school" letter in the mail...it will take longer.

Time and breath...

which one would you call?

zinke
daines
the two magats that are the other two US House and Senate reps.

They will hang up, if they even answer. These guys are not interested in anyone but themselves and their wealthy buddies and they do not want to hear anything we have to say. Nowadays, complaining could put a target on your back.

...whether Dem or not. They need to hear from us, individually and as part of groups like ACLU, AARP.

I am using email but one day I will work up to the telephone. based on stuff I've read here and reddit I believe that a coordinator decides which staffer gets to tabulate responses and bring the totals to the Congress person.

We might produce the proverbial butterfly effect (politically)and make a difference or not but we won't know unless we try. Email and phone is inexpensive these days. Congress people are the only one we get to vote for now. Maybe the input to nudge them and see reason.
