Meet Duffy, another idiot in a critical position. I worked for the FAA for 10 years and am still associated with them as a designee, and guys like him make me sick—another "TV" personality without so much as a lick of sense. Sometimes, it's just best to say little so as not to reveal oneself to be incompetent. He wouldn't know what's involved in root cause analysis for something of this magnitude if it bit him in the ass.

I am one of those very experienced people (47 years) who are thinking about pulling the plug. Many of my cohorts have. And my job entails issuing aircraft airworthiness certificates, among other functions. I bet Ninglenuts doesn't even know we exist and what we do.
