He's decided he can't be impeached, that the 25th amendment is no danger to him (he chose suck-ups for the cabinet, and Congress is still afraid of the Maga horde), and he can't be charged for anything he does as president, thanks to the Supreme Court, so he doesn't have to hide it any more.

21. When I fly I don't pray. I've never felt supernatural assistance was necessary

because I've always relied on the competence of the flight crew and the air traffic controllers and dispatchers and mechanics and inspectors and everyone else who works to assure safety in the aviation system (in which I once worked and with which I was very familiar). I never cared about whether some of them were female like me, or Black, or anything else - and I knew many pilots and others who were female, Black, and/or other so-called "DEI" people. I knew they were good at their jobs and I was safe.

But considering what Trump and his goons want to do to that system - freeze ATC hiring, appointing partisan, anti-regulation toadies to head the FAA, which has no head right now, making sure only mediocre white men are hired for these important jobs - maybe in the future I'll have to start praying if I ever fly again, since there won't be any human help.
