Elon Musk has taken over the finances of the United States

He has closed out the Government workers and is having his people do whatever they have planned.
I am not optimistic that there will anything but a whimper from the Press or our Party leaders.
Some hand wringing and head shaking, but in the end we will watch our National Treasure be robbed in broad daylight.
I might have gotten my last Social Security check.

And, again, there is enough ACTUAL bad stuff going on. It is not helpful to run around screaming the sky is falling, even if there is a rainstorm and flooding going on. Work on protection from the rain and floods - rather than bemoaning the fact that no one has any energy to build a dome to hold the sky up.

OPM is the Office of Personnel Management. It is HR for the Federal employees.

There is currently a take over at OMB (Office of Management and Budget) as well.

However, Musk needs access to the Treasury to mess with our Social Security checks. Musk (and his team) has indeed been trying to get access to the payment systems at Treasury. The senior official at Treasury (David Lebryk) quit today because of strife with Musk. Will Musk gain access to the Treasury? Watch this space.

Musk's people have infiltrated OPM. OMB is also under siege, but for now a judge is preventing them from freezing all federal funding and grants.

Musk's "team" has been trying to get control of the payment systems at Treasury. The official standing in their way has now resigned. We need to see what happens next.

https://www.reuters.com/world/us/musk-aides-lock-government-workers-out-computer-systems-us-agency-sources-say-2025-01-31/

Emphasis added.

WASHINGTON, Jan 31 (Reuters) - Aides to Elon Musk charged with running the U.S. government human resources agency have locked career civil servants out of computer systems that contain the personal data of millions of federal employees, according to two agency officials.
...
Musk, the billionaire Tesla (TSLA.O), opens new tab CEO and X owner tasked by Trump to slash the size of the 2.2 million-strong civilian government workforce, has moved swiftly to install allies at the agency known as the Office of Personnel Management.
The two officials, who spoke to Reuters on condition of anonymity for fear of retaliation, said some senior career employees at OPM have had their access revoked to some of the department's data systems.
The systems include a vast database called Enterprise Human Resources Integration, which contains dates of birth, Social Security numbers, appraisals, home addresses, pay grades and length of service of government workers, the officials said.
"We have no visibility into what they are doing with the computer and data systems," one of the officials said. "That is creating great concern. There is no oversight. It creates real cybersecurity and hacking implications."

Our main hope to stop them is a rebellion in the military. Anti-Trump soldiers and officers that are loyal to the Constitution and their Oaths versus pro-Trump soldiers and officers loyal to the Dictator Trump. We need patriot soldiers like General Milley, Lloyd Austin, Malcolm Nance, and Adam Kinzinger to take some action to mobilize the Anti-Trump forces before it is too late. We also need a National Rebellion in support of those Soldiers that are loyal to the Constitution and not to Trump.

Sat Feb 1, 2025, 01:10 AM

What wasn't didn't. Most of what they look to be doing today is collecting verifiable lists of civil workers to scare them and their families and firing Dept. Heads, which many are under the executives jurisdiction, nothing we can do about that. I am mainly talking about these articles about Musk trying to access "payment systems" scaring people who don't understand how the treasury works. Theres no safe to rob, no pin number to steal. Yes there's some skeevy shit going on but these guys cant halt SS or Medicare payments without Congress.

Now if there is any truth to "servers" being installed in different divisions "head quarters" that implies physical machines being brought in and installed on the networks. That would worry me like mad if it turns out to be true. I find it doubtful though as this isnt 2010. Most "servers" nowadays are hosted within government data centers in a closed government intranet, at least important ones. Some of those articles made it sound like people were bringing in server computers to set up. I find that very doubtful but like I said if that is true in some instances it violates federal government cybersecurity laws at some level I would think and would worry me greatly.
