I'm reminded of an old proverb.........

.... Back in the mists, when the Human Body was first getting its shit together, all the organs had a meeting to decide who would be in charge and lead this new project. The Legs jumped to their feet and declared: "Well, we're the Legs, and you ain't goin' nowhere unless I take you!" Then, the Hands went up and asked: "What are you going to do without us once you get there?". The Eyes wanted to know: "How will you know when you get where you're going if you can't see?" Then, the Neck said: "You're gonna need my help if you're going to look", to which the Head replied: "Hear! Hear!". The at-times rancorous debate carried on for a time, until the Asshole was asked to hold-forth on his opinion to which he replied: "Let's sit on it awhile an see how it comes out.".--- "And that, My Son, is how The Asshole came to Rule."--- Up until now, Democrats have tried to uphold their principles and deal fairly by adhering to formerly bi-partisan protocols. Democrats allow their members to express their own minds when casting their votes, while Republicans threaten their members and dictate their votes from the Leader's podium. This is asymmetrical warfare, and yesterday should be the last day it happens again until normalcy is restored and accountability is meted-out. Not another Democratic vote for any confirmation candidate. Not another Democratic vote for any Project 2025 proposal unless it is to roll-back any part. This, in lock-step, without exception. Out here in the streets, we need to find alternatives to enriching the Oligarchic Parasites who have groomed us all to addiction to their instant-gratification seduction and used the profits to buy our Government, to what ends......?------JUST SAY NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was mistaken. I thought I had posted on an internet chat site, and was unaware the MLA Stylesheet Police were issuing citations. Mea Culpa. I'll go sit in the corner with the other dummies, and contemplate why my punctuation is more important to you than the message I was trying to convey and what it says about you that you need to be condescending.

"Style is the dress of thoughts; and let them be ever so just, if your style is homely, coarse, and vulgar, they will appear to as much disadvantage."

There was a message in your post? It was hard to tell if I should work at finding it when confronted with an exhausting block of text to hack through with a machete.

There are two kinds of writers: those who want to be read and understood and those who write for themselves, as in venting. Which are you?

There are two kinds of writers: those who can accept meaningful criticism (such as I offered) and those who won't accept criticism. Which are you?

There are two kinds of writers: those who understand that paragraphing is not punctuation and those who don't. Which are you?

There are two kinds of DU writers: those who think this is a "chat site" and those who know it is much wider and deeper and useful than that. Which are you?
