(57,832 posts)driving the cost of living up by 10 to 25% with tariffs, increasing unemployment through massive layoffs, and cutting federal spending is probably going to put us in a recession.

(3,484 posts)The republicans have removed the protections put in place to keep it from happening again. They even removed the ones from the smaller depression in the late 1800s. They want to install crypto currency.

(26,257 posts)to replace its spending? So, in effect, when you multiply the spending taken out of the economy, by its velocity, money times velocity, its impact is multiplied by the velocity factor, e.g., 4 billion dollars times a velocity of money factor (it's now 1.390, so that dollar of spending is spent an additional .390 times). The higher the velocity, the more spending that occurs, thus, if velocity is 5, that 1.390 x 5 is 6.95, meaning that $1.390 dollars spent results in an ultimate spending when you add all things up, a total of $6.95 being spent.
The reverse is true when you pull money out. Idiot. With billionaires like him, who don't spend money on the scale that most of us do (we're surviving from day to day on what we have), they have no conception obviously of what they are talking about.

(3,484 posts)There will be a fight amongst the billionaires for who gets it all. I bet Zuckerberg will be the first to go down. We should probably have a Deadpool. (I mean his money and companies taken but probably wouldn't put it past Musk) The CEOs profile as serial killers.
