It's more than just that Musk is unelected

There are plenty of people who operate in government that have not been elected. But the authority always flowed from Department Heads that are appointed by an elected official (Secretaries, Judges, etc.) and confirmed by elected officials.

Elon Musk has not only not been elected, but has far too much power for someone who has not gone through the normal process of appointment and confirmation.

I suppose SCOTUS will give him as much immunity as they give POTUS.

For the tsf, and kept him out of prison. That's the reason he is letting Musk blow it all up.

Musk's actions are unconstitutional. He is an agent of the Executive Branch. The Executive Branch can not withhold funds authorized by the Congress. This is a gross criminal violation of the Constitution. It is a crime and Musk and his DOGE Agents are guilty. Democrats should at the very least call for Musk to resign. Preferably they should call for his arrest.

The convict in chief has declared him a “special government employee”. Someone like that should not wield the power that he does. It’s absurd.

To me, the jaw-dropping thing about the position Musk has been given is that what he does apparently isn't subject to review, maybe not even by president#2.
