Rep. Raskin to Maddow: "What I see are all the tell tale signs of a COUP."

#BREAKING: Rep Raskin to #Maddow: "What I see are all the tell tale signs of a COUP. A coup is a seizure of state power by UNELECTED actors, who work to take over the critical infrastructure of government outside of the rule of law, and that's what I see as going on right now."

...all the cute, populist rhetoric in the world doesn't change the fact that republicans are in control of every branch of government.

Complaining that the Senate leader is informing you is really something other than advocacy against republicans. It's expoiting that Democratic loss to blame the people we sent into battle without the numbers needed to win.

'Do something more than the nothing we prepared you for' is a nonsense response to the Senate leader essentially doing the job he was elected for in calling out the opposition on the Senate floor.

REPUBLICANS have all of the levers of government at their command, not Democrats, and it's not only proper, but essential to demand republicans stop the dismantling of the laws even republicans participated in advancing.

That's what's happening here, not the totality of Democratic efforts.

I've not read it either, but I'm not a career politician.

I've read posts on DU saying what us happening is clearly set forth in project 2025.

I would be amazed if our Dem leaders have not read the opposition's playbook.

It has been a slow-moving coup. We had a four-year window, after the election of Joe Biden, to fix it. But our system failed.
