Then of course they feel helpless, no one will believe their stories, or that someone like Trump
has to rape women for sex.

We also see his sadism during J6. We saw the video of Trump watching J6 on a TV screen.
He was grinning from ear to ear as his flying monkeys attacked and injured police officers.
He enjoyed the hell out of it.

Trump commits many financial crimes as a way to make money, most financial crimes are just business.
Nothing personal. Trump makes it all personal as a way to make money and hurt people.

This is the second reference I've read on DU recently about video of Trump watching the J6 insurrection.

I believe this is a Mandela Effect item.

It is surpassing strange to me that, if there was video of Trump in the dining room watching the insurrection, the J6 Committee would show video of people describing what Trump was doing, rather than just showing the video of the thing itself.

My words: Listen to the hearing. There were eye witnesses. Also, many previous reports that the TV was always on and always on Fox News. There are likely many photos that verify this for those that want to check it out. Also, I believe there is testimony/reporting that his own daughter tried to get him away from the t.v. and make a statement. That should be enough evidence. Whether there is a video/photos or not doesn't change what happened.

...nor was I trying to win an argument. But I thought you might have misremembered. (Or maybe seen some kind of dramatization somewhere?) I figured I'd have seen a video if there was one, because (like most here, probably) I was following such things pretty closely. It's nothing personal, I just don't accept things as fact simply because someone on the internet says it. And if wrong, it doesn't mean people are lying or intentionally misleading, sometimes people just make mistakes.

re: "Fascist governments scrub information all the time." -- I don't think we're quite yet where, not only would the video be gone, but also all references to it. Google seems to show no reporting of even the existence of such a video.

Also the DNC's (pre-fascism!) convention video (below) mentions him watching TV through through the events of Jan 6, but it is one of the few things in the video that they don't actually have any video for. It would seem to be an odd omission if there were existing video at the time, which wasn't all that long ago.

But I'm still open to evidence to the contrary.
