7. Here's what to expect

The IRS will move away from auditing large businesses and high net worth individuals and go after regular people and very small businesses. And they'll target Trump's enemies for audits.

Then I think with tax processing they'll move to something where Trump gets to make money off your refund somehow. Maybe entering your Truth Social verified usernam and password will guarantee your return os processed quickly, if your don;t register with Truth Social your refund can take 6-8 monhts.

I did mine yesterday. Received notice that both state and fed were accepted.

On Friday, I put a request in to withdraw all of my retirement fund out of the TSP (gov version of 401k), and the money arrived in my bank today!! *whew* I can finally breath. Been really freaked out about this.

Both of my regular monthly sources of income are from the Treasury (SS and pension/annuity), so I can still get screwed. At least my life savings is out of their clutches. Unfortunately, I had to pay a 20% federal tax witholding. Hopefully I can get some of that back when I file 2025 taxes.
