Federal Retirees: Is anyone else pulling their money out of Thrift?

My wife did hers last month, my sister in law just started the process. They don't trust the thieves in charge of the government to keep their hands off. Also customer service will probably go in the shitter because of people leaving. It's being rolled into an IRA at a brokerage.

I read an article regarding TSP and was concerned with once the dept ceiling is exceeded how TSP fund re-investments can be affected.

The majority of mine are in G fund with a bit in C.

I'd like to pull it out or move it, but unsure in to what.........

It really sucks to leave considering its low administrative fees, but with Muskrat in charge along with their proposals in Project 2025, it's time to bail.

need a broker as I don't want to attempt this alone. I set up a financial institution last week as I had thought about starting to withdraw funds now that I'm 71...I just don't trust dump and his band of thieves now that they've given access to those non-civil servant engineers.........sigh.

Can we do a class action suit against Uncle for data breach?

We don’t need the cash and don’t want the tax bite. We could move it to another IRA, but overall we’re happy with the TSP. I’m not at the point that I believe they will steal it. I still have SOME trust that the rule of law will prevail and the promises will hold. If they don’t, I think retirement funds elsewhere are probably at risk as well.

We’re holding steady for the moment…
