JUST IN: Sen. Mitch McConnell fell down the stairs outside the Senate chamber, where reporters watched the octogenarian regain his footing

McConnell got up with the help from Sens. Steve Daines and Markwayne Mullin

He walked away on his own power

McConnell also fell in December, continuing a pattern that raised alarms in 2023.

Musk is destroying institutional memory.

Pelosi and McConnell have more than a 100 years of institutional memory.

I am not saying this is what has happened.

But it would be naive and foolish not to consider it.
Malpractice for professionals not to ask some questions.

It is called the scientific method. Logic and pattern analysis.

Calling this a conspiracy theory is a straw man argument and is a logical fallacy.

In some professions it would be malpractice or against the law and ethics
to refuse to ask questions when two people from the same office fall down the stairs and are injured.

Any responsible person would ask the question about safety or what is going on.

Logistics apparently does not involve responsibility for human life.
Or a duty to warn and a duty to protect.
Safety is not an issue.

Law enforcement must ask questions, and so must people in various professions.
We are responsible for human life.

Scientists speculate all the time when data is presented to them.
Every modern invention you enjoy is due to someone wildly speculating and then testing it out.

He fell and broke a hip in July last year. The damage done was bad, but he survived the replacement and the surgery and the recovery (physically). He is a ruined man mentally though since that time.

I have an extremely compromised position on the elderly and being in charge of the country. But I also have experience of sitting with my father in a hospital ER for HOURS after he fell, waiting for pain medication and then for surgery and this was AFTER he was on the ground in his apartment for an unknown amount of time because he lived alone and the assistance staff only came to check on him at 12 hour intervals.

Falling down and being injured at that age is no small thing. It is daunting and mentally fatiguing in a way that most of us cannot understand. I felt a fraction of that pain by sitting at my father's bedside while he was in physical and mental distress and just had to sit there powerless as it dragged on for what felt like eternity. The fact that McConnell was able to leave apparently under his own power hurts my soul. My dad has been a good man and citizen his entire life. He did not deserve what happened to him or how it has tragically ruined his sunset years afterwards. Mitch McConnell is one of the primary architects of the destruction of the First American Republic, which died on November 6th, 2024 and is currently being buried. If anyone deserves the pain my dad endured, it is that fucking piece of Kentucky Fried Shit.

I hope he did fracture his hip and is currently in agony. He can consider it acclimation time for his entrance (soon, much sooner than he would like) into hell.

That includes muscle and joint weakness that gets progressively worse. McConnell's physical mobility problems are no more of a concern than Duckworth's missing legs are.

That's not the same as freezing mid-sentence - which was the concern in 2023..

He fell just like millions of other people his age do every day. He did not break a leg or hip and he got up and walked away. He is irrelevant now. His vote means nothing, he has no power in the GOP Senate anymore. He could have changed the course of history in the past, but not now. The die is cast and he is responsible. I really don’t care what happens to him.
