until a couple of days ago. But now they seem to have gotten the message. They are organizing protests, filibustering in the Senate, and trying new tactics and techniques as many of us have been asking them to do.
Let's not discourage more efforts by belittling their actions. We all want more, better, more effective actions NOW! I get it. But we need to support their efforts so that they will continue.
I just got an e-mail from my Senator (a Democrat) with a survey about what the Senate should do and a list of actions planned. I have been disappointed in her lack of response to the administration until this point. So I contacted her to express approval and encourage more action!
Let's unify and show solidarity. It's our only chance, people! Don't let them divide us.
Here's to more and better action!

(9,995 posts)you need to be aware that the House was not in session at all starting Friday, Jan 24 through thee beginning of this week. SO almost all House Reps were not in Washington for like a week and a half. That's why you weren't seeing most of them in the media at all.

(8,887 posts)Dems returned from their long weekend at home and appear to have gotten the message to step it up.
Id like to think it was Americans pressing them that finally changed their strategy from finding common ground and reaching across the aisle to full fledged opposition these past 3 days.
