(38,874 posts)Carried the game, altered the audio so that the boos were drowned out by cheers. Allegedly, people physically present heard lots of boos.

(1,117 posts)The President of the United States is on hand for Super Bowl 59 on Sunday evening. Trump, 78, was in Palm Beach, Florida earlier on Sunday morning. He played a round of golf with Tiger Woods and his son, Charlie Woods. A couple of hours later, he was on hand for Super Bowl 59 at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

(2,508 posts)Shes the unofficial KC team mascot- there were WAY more Philly fans than KC there, KC players got booed loudly when they ran on the field and Eagles were cheered loudly.

(42,435 posts)(I can't tell.) Once the game actually started, early in the first quarter, the Kansas City fans became very quiet. They didn't have much to cheer about until the 4th quarter. I'm sure Chump was long gone by then.
This Super Bowl was for Joe and Jill Biden.

(2,508 posts)The cheering was during the national anthem- the camera panned to him and had it on the jumbrotrons andpeople were cheering .... but it hit me that people who may have booed earlier probably held them back because the national anthem was playing.

(1,664 posts)We got the image of Trump during the anthem, which lends itself to folks cheering. Hard to imagine people (even our side) interrupting Jon Batiste's performance to boo.

(22,122 posts)I think you're overthinking things, because even if some didn't want to boo during the clip, the cheers sure were quite loud.
Like it or not, he wouldn't have been cheered like thst 4 or 5 years ago. His ceiling used to be 43%, and now it's 48%. It's quite worrisome.
