The cheering was during the national anthem- the camera panned to him and had it on the jumbrotrons andpeople were cheering .... but it hit me that people who may have booed earlier probably held them back because the national anthem was playing.

I think you're overthinking things, because even if some didn't want to boo during the clip, the cheers sure were quite loud.

Like it or not, he wouldn't have been cheered like thst 4 or 5 years ago. His ceiling used to be 43%, and now it's 48%. It's quite worrisome.
