The NFL confirmed the person was part of the 400-member field cast. The New Orleans Police Department said in a statement that law enforcement is working to determine applicable charges in this incident.
The NOPD is working to determine the applicable charges?
Here's the charge:
"Forgetting that the US is a white Judeo-Christian country and everybody else in the world doesn't matter."

(18,690 posts)do as Russia does, during the course of the "investigation" they will "find" something. They'll announce that this person has committed some other (fabricated) crime. Maybe he hasn't paid his taxes, or downloaded child porn, or sells or buys drugs, or is the suspect in some unsolved robbery. In Russia, if they want to take you down for something that isn't a crime, they make something up. I hope we are not there yet.

(34,729 posts)The New Orleans Police Department also said authorities were working to determine applicable charges in this incident.
NOPD said in a statement to The Hill that the individual detained, an adult Black male, was ejected from the stadium after the incident.
No arrest nor summons was issued, NOPD added. As such, the individual will not be identified.

The flag furling would be considered disruption of a performance in violation of pre-agreements/contracts with the NFL. Hence, it is a civil matter. And hence, they can be "banned from the business"
However, security is tight at the Super bowl because it is considered a "high security" event, so maybe that was the reason law enforcement initially escorted out/detained the performer?
