Every year, the marketing community gathered to watch the Super Bowl commercials and converse about them using the same, annual hashtags.

Last night, we all found community again and, for a couple hours, I didn't doomscroll. I found old friends and made new ones and went to bed in a better place than I usually do. Practically nobody who is still on Twitter is persuadable, IMHO. About 15% of Americans still have an account. I still have an account I think. I've never posted and never plan to. The number of active US users is hard to come by, but I bet it is < 25 million, and much of that has nothing to do with politics or world affairs. A lot of it is pop culture and sports.

Bluesky has more than 30 million users now. A large percentage of those accounts are active, politically oriented and American. In other words, it is likely that the number of active American users discussing politics is greater today on Bluesky than Twitter.
