The entire party should be united in blocking any trumpian agenda whether it be legislative or nominations.

But these press events, they need to be rotating the cast. Give all our senators and reps a chance to stand in the sun and be seen. If they all go to every one, we will hear about 3-4 names, and the rest will essentially be crowd filler. This way.. there's something for each state, each districts local news relevance. And we can walk and chew gum at the same time.

...name one who isn't prioritizing this.

In this pluralistic legislative Congress, it's ONLY Democrats defending Social Security.

No one is getting 'bogged down,' and no one should be diverted from the republican cult who is intent on hurting not just Democrats on SS, but their own indoctrinated voters as well.

...do more to confront republicans on this issue by using this platform to elevate what Democrats are actually saying and doing right now on this issue that concerns you.

To the point of this post, try and refrain from stepping all over actual advocacy, while at the same time, claiming there isn't enough of any.

I'd also recommend keeping in touch with your lawmakers and attending any town halls or other meetings.

Mfume, Olszewski, and Elfreth represent the 3 areas around Baltimore. Especially Mfume, who represents the area where the SSA Headquarters are. While I'm surprised that the rest of Team Maryland (other than Andy Harris, who can go fuck himself), they probably wanted to focus on Baltimore.
