(2,798 posts)It makes me so sad that hes a trumper. I thought better of him. Reading comments on the Cbus Dispatch some folks are already calling for him to run for Governor next election. Some are speculating that its a move by Dewine in an effort to head off Vivek, who is apparently looking at a run for Governor. Or maybe I should say have the governorship bought for him.

(40,115 posts)Although Tressel isnt a complete idiot like Tuberville. I just hope he hasnt turned into a cultist.
Wish Dewine had chosen Dr. Amy Acton, with whom he worked on the Covid pandemic and someone whom DeWine seemed to respect. But I guess since shes a Democrat, that would have been out of the question.

(2,798 posts)If Tressel would agree to run for Governor. This could be Dewines move to head Vivek off at the pass. Tressel is a popular person in Ohio because of his coaching career and I think hes pretty well thought of by most people. The only thing is unless the Dems come up with a superstar candidate I think theyd have trouble beating Tressel because of his reputation unless he totally screws up these next two years which is unlikely. And hopefully, given his background, hes not on board with defunding universities and public education.
