It's almost like the Chiefs agreed to lose

I followed the game on YouTube, so didn't really see it. But, by half time, you know, I was really worried. And then, in the 3rd quarter, I started just hoping they'd get on the board with anything. You always play through until the last possible moment. Never quit trying. But, geez, what happened?

I prefer to think ETTD happened. But, no excuses. It was just a terrible game. The thing that stands out to me is that there was something wrong with Chris Jones. And, Trump left at half time. There are many ways to show courage. His team is losing, half time didn't include his favorite music, so he slithered out. How disrespectful is that? He is a coward.

Kelce had said it was an honor to play before the pResident. It turned out it wasn't. After making such an entrance, "Look at me," trump didn't stand with his men. He cut and ran. He is an absolute coward. He left them bleeding in the field. It's just a game, but it is symbolic.

It isn't true that Trump doesn't like football. He was part of that rogue league (can't think what it was called, but it was pretty prominent.) He played around there and tanked the league. Then, when the Bills in the NFL became available, he tried to buy that team for two or three billion bucks. At that time, he was said to be worth three billion. But, the family or league, whatever, turned his bid down, and the Bills dodged a very big bullet.

He tried to coopt Tim Tebow by announcing an association that wasn't true, and Tebow had to deal with that. Regardless of what you think about Tebow, and I have a few reservations myself, he is a decent guy, and one of the smartest things he did was not being swayed by tRump. tRump had some sports paraphenalia about Tebow, but I don't remember what that was. But, ETTD, and Tebow became an announcer.

If I were the Chiefs, I'd have every player's back. tRump gets even with anybody and everybody who gives him trouble. I'd say losing the Super Bowl in such a shocking manner qualifies.

There was talk recently about expanding the number of teams in the NFL. They better wait until Donald Trump dies to do that. Because, ETTD is in full effect, and Donald getting a team is not wise.

Regardless of Brittany Mahomes' endorsement of tRump, I wish them well. I hope most of the players stay with the team and that they have a great future season. It was just one of those things. At least the Eagles are happy. I would have loved the threepeat, but it just wasn't there.

But OF COURSE the internet knows, and I feel stupid for not getting it right off.

I will definitely start using it.

(Everything Trump Touches Dies. For any others like me who have not kept up. Oh I knew the saying, just didn't realize it was a common enough abbreviation to give multiple hits in a google search.)

Shame is on the one who uses terms others don't understand.

I will definitely not be using it as an acronym.

So when I saw all those sacks of Mahomes and no receiver seemingly able to hang onto the ball, I did not think they would have a miraculous comeback--or at least a sufficient one to win--after halftime. Yes, I think Trump was a hex on them as he is on every other decent thing he encounters, but the Eagles did clearly outplay them. Not merely their offense, but the Eagles defense really won the game. And given they have six former stars of UGA's 2021 National Championship team on their defensive roster, that did not surprise me. Offense gets the credit always, but in this game, Eagle's defense made the difference IMHO.

offense sells tickets to the game, but it's the defense that puts the ring on your finger.

10. Trump owned the New Jersey Generals in the USFL

He was responsible for killing the league. The USFL played in the Spring but Trump insisted on going head to head with the NFL in the fall so after 3 seasons, the league decided to move to the fall. They ended up never playing a single game in the fall and the league folded.

The USFL sued the NFL in 1985 claiming the NFL was acting as a monopoly.

The trial received national attention, and Trump testified on June 23. At one point during his testimony, the legal team for the NFL stated that Trump had paid bussers and waiters to spy on NFL owners while they were staying at his hotels, which he denied.

During the trial, Trump stated that in March 1984, he had met with Rozelle at The Pierre hotel and, during the meeting, Rozelle tried to talk Trump out of moving the USFL to the fall, offering him an NFL franchise if he cooperated. However, Rozelle denied making this offer. Rozelle stated that Trump had been the one who set up the meeting and rented the space at The Pierre and from meeting notes showed that Trump had requested an NFL expansion team in New York City, with plans to sell off the Generals. Leslie Schupak, a person who was present at the meeting, later told Pearlman that Rozelle had told Trump, "As long as I or my heirs are involved in the NFL, you will never be a franchise owner in the league".

The Jury ruled against the NFL, in favor of the USFL but awarded the USFL damages of just one dollar. That was later tripled to three dollars. ESPN did an excellent documentary on the USFL and it's demise called "Small Potatoes: Who Killed the USFL?". The film makers left no doubt on who was to blame for the league's failure: Trump.

I can't imagine the NFL would ever agree to allowing Trump to own a franchise..

MUST WATCH: Fans at Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl gave Trump the warmest welcome… straight from the pits of hell. The boos were louder than the halftime show.
