https://www.allrecipes.com/canned-tuna-recall-february-2025-8788892According to a Feb. 7 press release, Tri-Union Seafoods is recalling canned tuna sold under the Genova, Van Camps, H-E-B, and Trader Joes brand labels. The recall was initiated after Tri-Union Seafoods was notified by its supplier that the cans easy open pull tab lids have a manufacturing defect that may affect the products seal and possibly contaminate the tuna with clostridium botulinum (commonly referred to as botulism), a potentially fatal form of food poisoning.
