Back in Nixon's day, "affirmative action" was code for the n-word. Now it's DEI, and the grossest thing of all is that this is happening a quarter of the way into the 21st fucking century.

If someone had told me 50 years ago that this is where we'd be in 2025, I would never have believed it!

11. You know that 3rd pic reminded me of the scheme that was hatched in the movie "The Lemon Drop Kid"

regarding fraudulently raising money by posing as one of the many (similar to the Salvation Army) who would set up kettles at Christmas time for donations, except in this case, to help pay off a debt.

(I finally watched that film a couple years ago when looking for the films where some of the famous seasonal songs debuted and "Silver Bells" first appeared in that movie)

15. The movie is pretty good

Standard Bob Hope fare and has a wild plot. It's sort of a "gangster" movie related to horse racing bets and evolves from there.

13. I don't know, but the one of Elon Musk eating a breaded, deep fried wing from the "Angel of Mercy" (USAID).....

......that also features the bloody stump where he ripped it off, though correct, may be just a bit much. Or not. These are tough times.
