Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsDems, including Rep. Jeffries, have called bullshit over claims they're 'upset' over pressure from outside groups
...it's right there at the head of the trolling article reporting this.
Here's the trolling fail in a nutshell, from Axios:
"People are pissed," a senior House Democrat who was at the meeting said of lawmakers' reaction to the calls.
The Democrat said Jeffries himself is "very frustrated" at the groups, who are trying to stir up a more confrontational opposition to Trump.
A Jeffries spokesperson disputed that characterization and noted to Axios that their office regularly engages with dozens of stakeholder groups, including MoveOn and Indivisible, including as recently as Monday
...people need to stop falling for this bullshit, and, most importantly, stop spreading what journos claim are unnamed people speaking out against our party, all without any evidence of its veracity.
Especially clickbait reports which are DENIED by our Democratic legislators and leaders.

(44,807 posts)I wish the Republicans would take a few English composition courses. They are very poor on vocabulary.

(7,603 posts)Thank you for saying it out loud. It's been years since I paid attention to Move On or Indivisible. They complain (often unfairly IMO) about Democrats while Republicans are trying to destroy our form of government.

(9,212 posts)The volume and nature of calls from constituents over what is going on? Saying they interact with indivisible etc. doesn't answer that.

(94,265 posts)...and attacking Democrats like that's some kind of advocacy against republicans.
"A Jeffries spokesperson disputed that characterization" should be all that anyone here needs to refute Axios which regulary trolls Democrats.

(9,212 posts)Many d supporters are unhappy with the response to this, at first at least. I was unhappy without reading any of these articles.

(94,265 posts)...over the word of our legislators, willing to believe anything negative about them.
In this case, this article provided ZERO proof of their claims from the unnamed Democrats they cited.
If you think that's enough to trash our Democratic leader, have at it, but I'm still going to call bullshit on unverified allegations smearing our elected Democrats.
I honestly don't know why anyone would come here and bother people working to support the party with this trolling bullshit, but here we are.

(9,212 posts)Or saying I am unhappy with what is going on? Could just be trolls etc. however why not just say: no, no one did that its pretty simple.
bigtree
(94,265 posts)...and 'asking questions' about what we can all see are unsubstatiated claims.
Okay, fine. Do what you want.
But I'm speaking to more than that.
Why would anyone bring unsubstantiated claims here, then proceed to attack our Democratic leadership behind those trolling reports? That's not advocacy against republicans, it's spreading rumors which engourage apathy and cynicism abut the very important and daily work the Democratic leader and others in our party are doing every day.
Ask all the questions you want. Just don't expect only agreeable answers, perhaps.
I already said why theyre doing that here- likely trolls. I have learned not to expect only good answers replies, neither should anyone else. I think you may be mis- understanding an important part of what Im saying here- ignoring the fact that many feel that not enough was done is not a good thing to do.

(94,265 posts)...Indivisible and MoveOn did their share of disrupting the last election campaign against either Biden or Harris with daily trolling about what the Israeli president was doing in Gaza, or that Biden was too old.
If any Democrat is turning them off, it's because they appear to believe representing the entire party as deficient or negligent is smart politics. I think they're just spreading cynicism for clicks, which turns people away from the party.
If someone is publicly complaining they haven't seen enough from Democrats, and haven't done a thing to promote what myriad of our elected officials have actually been advocating and protesting since the swearing-in, then they have no credibility to talk to anyone about not sufficiently promoting the party's interests.
I mean, they're really just talking out of their own heads, no? It's really poor advocacy to fail to do the minimum to amplify what actual elected Dems are doing and saying, and just malpractice to do things which turn folks away from the ones we managed to elect.
The ONLY thing that will block republicans is a Democratic majority. EVERY time we elect Democrats to a majority, we progress.
Every time we don't the nation falters and fails. I'd adjust my actions accordingly if actual opposition to republicans is what they're after.

(9,212 posts)I was not aware they were doing that. I havent been paying much attention for quite a while now until the current chaos and even then I have to limit what I view etc. Agree on this. 😀
* I am very aware we need a majority of course and that other stuff. Pretty obvious.
