Did anyone receive their Social Security today? I know some people get theirs on Wednesdays. Mine comes on the third of the month. I am worried like most recipients. Please check in if you got your check today.

Wednesday of February. I get mine on the 3rd of the month and got it last week. My husband gets his on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. My parents got theirs on the 3rd day like me when they were alive.

Cleared at 12:15 AM this morning.
But it was put into my Credit Union, and like any bank it may just be a holding it until the Doge boys use my account number and transfer it to the Musk bank.
Yes I got my deposit, but just how fucking safe is it now the Big and Hairy Balls can just click and drag every fucking dime of my life’s savings and is just stolen in plain sight.

Today is my regular day but it shows up as having been deposited on the 10th??? Just so grateful it was there.

31. This happened to me when I changed the bank for my SS deposit a year ago.

I get mine the 2nd Wed of the month, which was always when it cleared or even showed up with the first bank. My current bank shows it pending on Monday, but also says the funds are available at that time as well. It still takes until Wednesday for it to clear.

17. And here we are, the moment we've all dreaded for decades...

wondering if SS has finally been gutted and taken away. I feel for those of you already drawing from SS and relying on that income, which is the case for most people. What an awful feeling to wonder each month if you will get it.

I have planned to start early withdrawal this summer. They'll probably change all of the rules effective immediately, if the whole program isn't destroyed by that time.

On the plus side, once they do something definitive re: SS, the non-wealthy MAGA will rise up too.

20. Mine always shows up in my bank account on a Friday. It is always early.

My birthdate is the 19th, so I am supposed to get it the 3rd Wednesday of the month. Ditto for H whose birthdate is the 16th.

Last month it was in my bank account on Jan.10th, which was a Friday.

December it was in the 13th. Also a Friday.

November it was the 15th.

All were before 3rd Wednesday of the month.

are ex-pats. I read somewhere that SS payments to people with non-US addresses have to be reauthorized periodically and given the clusterfuck in Washington, apparently that isn't getting done.
