Meanwhile, Hegseth had announced that the the United states will not endorse NATO membership for Ukraine or pressure Putin to return Ukranian territory seized during that country's war with Russia. That development, plus today's news about these imminent, Russian-friendly negotiations with the U. S., spells the end of Ukraine's independence and security.

a bigger hand in the ME and a stronger Iran and renewed threats against the Baltic states and Poland.

Sooner or later the above will involve US troops.
