Dear MAGA Voter,
You can regret your vote all you want. You can post all the tearful apologies your want. None of them mean a damn until you can answer one question:
What are you going to do about it?
Investigative journalist, Greg Palast, reported on the Thom Hartmann Program (Jan. 24, 2025) that According to the Elections Assistance Commissions official numbers, 4,776,706 voters were wrongly purged from the rolls. . . . Without voter suppression tactics, she [Kamala Harris] would have won.
Hundreds of thousands of Harris volunteers turned out to hand out flyers, put up yard signs, canvas neighborhoods, phone bank and even more all to stop Trump! Then tens of millions of us did our parts by voting for Harris. Yet millions were denied the right to vote and millions more had their ballots thrown away. So again, I ask.
What are you going to do about it?
So far, all youve done is enable Trumps return to the White House. No apology is going to make up for that.
Only action will.
You can start by helping your neighbors and those in your communities who are hurt by the monstrous policies being rolled out. Yes, that means everyone who's being hurt, not just people like you. Next, you can vigorously campaign to get the MAGAs out of your state legislature and start fighting to unseat the MAGAs in the House and Senate.
This goes far beyond you regretting one vote because you didnt just vote for Trump in 2024. You voted for him in 2020; you voted for him in 2016. You have voted for and supported your MAGA state legislatures while they have gerrymandered districts, purged voter rolls, and tossed out ballots.
Yes, you and you alone are responsible for having brought a coup détat to America. So get up, roll up your sleeves, and get to work. You owe restitution to your country; you especially owe restitution to each and every disenfranchised voter.
That is your only path to redemption. Anything less, and your tearful apologies will remain meaningless. If you are truly sorry for what youve done to our country, then show us! Otherwise, there will be no grace extended to you or to anyone else who voted to put a Nazi-loving fascist in the White House. So one last time, I ask you:
What are you going to do about it?

(10,270 posts)So far all Ive seen is gloating. They LOVE that people who are not them are losing their jobs, living in fear, and being forced to give birth.
I suppose there must be some MAGAts among the hundreds of thousands of civil servants being fired, but they are being quiet afaik.

(3,615 posts)You tube and tik tok have quite a number of videos of them. Right after the election, quite a number who sleepwalked their vote were jolted awake, and searches for changing my vote spiked.
Many of them, however, are regretful only because the poor leopards are eating their faces too.

(1,264 posts)it is early yet. Karma is coming.
The regretful ones might consider taking action as mentioned by the OP
I doubt things will get better in the US.

(10,270 posts)It wont take long. Snowballs gain steam as they roll downhill. Their darling little Chad gets hit with a child support order. They never think about that part. The company they never really understood survived on government contracts lays them off. They cant find anyone to come and repair their rotten deck. Grandpa gets kicked out of the nursing home and moves in. They cant get their car fixed because parts are suddenly unavailable or too expensive. They cant afford food.
They might not put two and two together right away, but eventually Elon will get a little too gleeful on X or Trump will literally give them the finger on national TV, and theyll get it.
