Remember when Rubio and Trump declared that Panama agreed to allow US military ships to go
through the Panama Canal for free? And Panama called their bluff and they buckled? I fear the same scam is going to be played in Ukraine.
I am hoping that all of Europe stands behind Ukraine, because I believe that Putin and Trump are going to set up the same game. Without Zelensky they will claim that a peace deal was reached. And Zelensky will have to be ready to reach for the megaphone and tell them to fuck off.
I do wonder, however, if they tried to force him to give up those minerals under contract as an attempt to leverage something for the US? I'm glad Zelensky refused, because Trump will just sell him out anyway.
