Bernie is going on tour.

He's an old(er) guy, but he's going out in the field. If I heard right, he is going out to inspire the grassroots populace to turn out en masse in protest. Well, we have to do something. The news loves to cover protest signs.

The main obstacle to this is, according to many comments on this board, the possibility of Martial Law. What about this? Every attempt to offer protest or pushback is met with a decided lack of enthusiasm. This is the easiest way to get attention and to inform middle ground or rumpian voters what is going on. A million person march would surely get someone's attention.

What are we trying to do here? We need to turn some repubs to our side. We need to take the Midterms. Power to the People. The People need to take over and tell Trump et al., the Congress, the USSC, and everyone that we are PISSED about what is happening.

Do you remember Close Encounters...?" This is the part of the film where they are trying to establish a tonal vocabulary, and the technicians are responding hesitantly, until one says something like, "Eff it, we are taking over NOW." And, they did.

We need that. It is not enough to survive. We have to win and push the rat weasels out. How afraid are we of Martial Law? Aren't we going to face many, many hardships, anyway? At the very least, we have lost prestige in the eyes of the world. It broke my heart to hear Canada booing our anthem. They used to be our friends. They helped us in times of trouble. Canada...

I think it's time that Congress itself gets its eyes opened. They are too insulated. We don't have to enter any restricted space. We don't have to have violence. This should be some sacred gathering in the name of Democracy. We want the military and Congress to hear us, get us, and back us. Somehow, we have to do this.

I'll be damned, my family--my ancestors--didn't fight in world wars so Musk/Trump can put us in slavery to their wallets. The United States belong to us!!
