I am in a constant state of rage and dread.

I can’t prove it, but I believe it.

Musk stole this election when votes were uploaded via satellite to tabulate. He couldn’t deliver Virginia for Trump because of the way we vote, but states with no random audits and paper ballots (Virginia has both) were free for the taking.

I think Musk’s son is on the autism spectrum and/or is echolailic (repeats what he hears) and said “We’re in SpaceX and we quietly do just whatever we want.”

In early November, the kid said “they’ll never know” twice when a former Fox News host asked whether Donald Trump would win the election. And of course when he recently said, “You’re not the president.”

The kid is Musk’s human shield.

Putin helped with disinformation and bomb threats.

Social media, especially Facebook, was and still is releasing a flood of rightwing garbage - the more you hide and block, the more you get. The algorithm isn’t working the way you think it should.

States helped by voter suppression.

Trump is stuck. He’s an idiot but he can’t stop Musk even if he wants to because Musk holds the cards and the proof. I think Trump has dementia.

Republicans in Congress are paralyzed and scared shitless. They’re afraid of his followers and terrified for their lives and the lives of their families.

Trump was talking to Putin while not in office - I thought you weren’t allowed to do this.

HOW DID OUR INTELLIGENCE AGENCIES MISS THIS?

HOW DID OUR ALLIES MISS THIS?

Our allies will never trust us again.

As you can see, I’m becoming unhinged. I felt so good after seeing the protests, but I wish I saw a way out of this.

There are several alarmist posts right now and I think we should ignore some of them. Focus on your well-being. I think the election was rigged as well. And we are not alone. Big hug to you.

I do not believe that he has dementia. I think that may come later on but contrary to all the statements people
Make about this, I believe he does not have it.

At one time I thought the election was fair but now I am second guessing. Perhaps some day we will know.
As Rachel Maddow likes to say, “watch what they do not what they say.” Something like that.

and the crazy antics during the campaign was purely evil trolling because he knew the fix was in. Notice he's not performing fellatio on microphones now.

I also 100% believe the assassination attempts were staged and that first one f'd up big time when he hit and killed the man in the crowd.

You are not imagining things. There are many of us who see the evidence of a rigging.

And then there is this.

It is not an easy time to hold on to our sanity. But to me - knowledge is power.

I am glad we have DU as a source of information and a community of thinking minds.

Just wishing I had money enough to get my whole family out of this country. I don’t know where I would even go that would be safe if Putin’s trying to take over Europe. Doesn’t really matter, it’s a moot point. I could move with my husband, but we have three daughters, three sons-in-law, and two grandchildren. Impossible to leave.

I feel the same way. I can only scroll for news in small doses. I like to know what’s going on in the world but my stress level can’t handle it anymore. I’m trying to focus on raising my grandson and taking care of the things I can handle. Please know you’re not alone.

I only do the news in small doses throughout the 24 hour period, too. Like you, I want to keep up with what's happening... my survival depends on it at this point with musk... but more than small doses will send me into anxiety overdrive. I recently started on a new med. With that, and doing the small dose of news thing, my anxiety has calmed some. At least I'm not waking up in the middle of the night screaming anymore. My adult grandson moved in with me and hubs a few months ago. He helps with some of the bills (on his own, I never asked him) and he helps me and his grandpa around the house. He's on the spectrum, so sometimes he seems like a teenager rather than his actual age... and I'm helping to undo some of the damage that the early years dealt him. That's important enough to me to keep myself in check where doomscrolling is concerned. It used to be my cats that gave me a reason for living. Now I have the cats and my grandson. I have a nice, quiet little life here as long as trump doesn't do anything with social security or medicare. Of course, my fear is he'll touch it... and like anything trump touches, it will die. Not sure what we'll do then. But for now, I figure I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. I think there are a lot of people like us right now...

My grandson, still a child, a 6 year old is possibly on the spectrum. He has an appointment next Friday for an in-depth evaluation. I worry about his future and all of the others who are disabled in any way. This presidency will damage all of us but will do the most damage to the helpless. I’m glad your grandson helps you and your hubs. He has a good heart. Nonetheless we will continue to do our best, and if staying away from the news is what we need for our own well being at times then so be it. We won’t come out of this unscathed but we will come out of it. We’ll stick together, support one another, and we’ll be okay.

The Serenity Prayer ... has been attributed to many people without evidence, including Thomas Aquinas, Cicero, Augustine, Boethius, Marcus Aurelius, and Francis of Assisi.

I am an atheist, but I believe in the Serenity Prayer.

I have about a 10% suspicion of the election being stolen.

Yesterday, two bouts of crying about potential but real serious life changes (directly caused by Repuglican actions).
Pulled myself together.

My suggestion is plunge yourself into your serious Hobbies, passions, etc. Get some if you don't have any serious ones.

When I'm doing art, crafting, reading fiction, looking at articles on things I'm interested in, watching TV, or streaming movies etc my mind is concentrating there, rarely does drumphf, eloon, Repuglican stuff intrude!

Try to be good to yourself so as to preserve some strength and sanity etc. I can't watch news for very long at all even now because I start screaming and one of my cats flinched when I did recently so I have to be very careful. It could be raising my bp too.

Except op(orange psycho) is not just an idiot, he is evil/psychotic and already murdered millions with covid.

Protest is coming. More and more of the public is being effected by the Administration's nefarious actions as each day passes. To ease my mind, I play solitaire the old fashioned way, work crossword puzzles and watch Britbox. A constant state of rage and dread can do a number on you, so try to find some avenues out of it, Ok?
